Blazer, Carel - Holland Zonder Haast
As a documentary photographer Carel Blazer [1911-1980] has become known over the years with a limited number of photographs. Parts of his oeuvre have remained unexposed to date: commissioned photography that has never been used, casual images or fragments of reportage. Yet these lesser-known shots, from the period of the Netherlands during the reconstruction, are of an eye-catching quality. Blazers photography still serves as an example for many current and future documentary photographers.
