Coutelle, Stephane - Me, myself and I

Stéphane Coutelle is an established beauty and fine art photographer.

Born in Paris in 1962, he has led a rich and diversified career, always willing to reinvent himself and explore new grounds.

The series of self portraits began as a ritual at the beginning of an intense 10 years love story. When my relationship ended in 1995, the chapter of self portraits closed as well.

He shot fashion pictures and celebrity portraits in the 80's, became a painter of large, hypnotic portraits in the 90's, before coming back to photography and becoming a worldwide reference in beauty advertising photography and film making.

Stéphane Coutelle has published four books : Me Myself and I in 1995, Shoebox Studio in 2012, Insomnies in 2014 and CARBONE in 2019. Insomnies’ pictures were exposed in Paris by ArtStudioK gallery in 2014, as part of Le Mois de la Photo program. A new exhibition took place in 2018 at Artcube Gallery. In 2019 he created the publishing house LA BELLE ETOILE with his wife Barbara Moors.
