Cor Jaring started his career as a photographer in the army. This was followed by an illustrious career that took him past the ports of Amsterdam, the provos, the hippies, the squatters' riots in Amsterdam and the coronation of Beatrix. He shot countless images that would turn out to be iconic, such as of Robert Jasper Grootveld, the smoke bombs around the Golden Coach and the bed-in of John Lennon and Yoko Ono at the Hilton.Changes provides a magical picture of the years in which the Netherlands changed forever. In addition, it contains a wide selection of the work that Cor Jaring made on his many travels.

Hofland Cor Jaring (1936) has been awarded a World Press Photo Award and exhibits all over the world. Some of his works are part of the permanent collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

Cor Jaring begon zijn loopbaan als fotograaf in het leger. Daarna volgde een roemruchte carrire die hem voerde langs de havens van Amsterdam, de provo's, de hippies, de krakersrellen in Amsterdam en de kroning van Beatrix. Hij schoot talloze beelden die iconisch zouden blijken, zoals van Robert Jasper Grootveld, de rookbommen rond de Gouden Koets en de bed-in van John Lennon en Yoko Ono in het Hilton. Changes geeft een magistraal beeld van de jaren waarin Nederland voorgoed veranderde. Daarnaast bevat het een ruime keuze uit het werk dat Cor Jaring op zijn vele reizen maakte.
