Cor Jaring started his career as a photographer in the army. This was followed by an illustrious career that took him past the ports of Amsterdam, the provos, the hippies, the squatters' riots in Amsterdam and the coronation of Beatrix. He shot countless images that would turn out to be iconic, such as of Robert Jasper Grootveld, the smoke bombs around the Golden Coach and the bed-in of John Lennon and Yoko Ono at the Hilton.
Hofland Cor Jaring (1936) has been awarded a World Press Photo Award and exhibits all over the world. Some of his works are part of the permanent collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

Hij schoot talloze beelden die iconisch zouden blijken, zoals van Robert Jasper Grootveld, de rookbommen rond de Gouden Koets en de bed-in van John Lennon en Yoko Ono in het Hilton.
Cor Jaring (1936) is o.a. onderscheiden met een World Press Photo Award en exposeert over de hele wereld. Enkele van zijn werken behoren tot de permanente collectie van het Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
