He then experiences the limits of the photographic. As close as possible to the art of his time, Eustache Kossakowski stuck to the barricades of Buren and appeared with Raymond Hains. Photographe des avant-gardes polonaises, ami de Tadeusz Kantor, Eustache Kossakowski s'impose un exil à Paris au début des années 70.
Il y expérimente alors les limites du photographique. Au plus près de l'art de son temps, Eustache Kossakowski se colla aux barricades de Buren et s'afficha avec Raymond Hains. C'est son parcours complexe et parfois contradictoire que retrace cette première monographie en représentant la période polonaise et les principales séries qui ont constitué son travail : Pompéi, 6 mètres avant Paris, les fontaines, les palissades...
