€ 35,00

Illustrated with over 180 photographs, this book traces the career of New York's most infamous photographer/filmmaker, Richard Kern. John Waters said of one of Kern's notorious scum-bag Super-8 movies: 'Finger is the ultimate date movie for psychos. It's the best hillbilly-punk-art-porno movie in the world and I always show it to people very late at night to make them happy'.

Richard Kern (1954) is a filmmaker and photographer from New York. His work is seen as a form of transgressive film art. His work contains many subversive and perverse elements such as violence and pornography. He has collaborated with various musicians such as Lydia Lunch, Kembra Pfahler and Henry Rollins in films such as The Right Side of My Brain and Fingered.
