Philipp Kester (born March 9, 1873 in Kirchenlaibach - February 5, 1958 in Munich) was a German photographer and representative of early photojournalism. In addition to his work as a photographer in Germany and the USA, he sold and collected press photographs. Kester is best known for his shots of everyday scenes from Berlin, Munich and the USA, as well as for portraits of some internationally important personalities.

Philipp Kester (9 März 1873 in Kirchenlaibach - 5 Februar 1958 in München) war ein deutscher Fotograf und Vertreter des frühen Fotojournalismus. Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Fotograf in Deutschland und den USA vertrieb und sammelte er Pressefotografien. Kester ist vor allem für seine Aufnahmen alltäglicher Szenen aus Berlin, München und den USA bekannt, sowie für Porträts teils international bedeutender Persönlichkeiten.
