Kincses, Károly - Photographes Made In Hungary (New in plastic!)
This book is a collection of photographs by Károly Kincses, put together by the Hungarian Museum of Photography.
Hungary is the biggest exporter of world famous photographers. (...) Is there another nation that possesses so many exceptional talents in a given field of art? Is there a single country that can recognize that it has not been able to keep any of them and that none of them has been known or recognized in its own country?
Because if it was only a question of a name or two, we could invoke chance. But so many emigrants!
Two parts :
-Those who left with 33 photographers including KERTESZ, BRASSAÏ, MOHOLY-NAGY, CAPA (R.), FEHER, HERVE (L.), PLACHY ...: 96 black and white and full-page photographs.
-Those who remained with 32 photographers including PECSI, BALOGH, MÁTE, DULOVITS, NENGYEL, VAJDA ...: 135 black and white and full-page photographs.
