In Good Luck, Christine Otten and Erik Kessels give 'Betty and Pierre Vincent' a new life, in images and text. Polyphonic narrated, capricious and evocative like life itself, Otten and Kessels sketch an intimate portrait of two people, of their loves, their secrets, their successes, obsessions and disappointments. At the same time, Good Luck is an exciting story about (denied) family ties, about the unruliness of life and the ability to escape from it.

Erik Kessels (Roermond, March 11, 1966) is co-founder and creative director of the Amsterdam communication agency KesselsKramer. He collects photography, published several photo books and curated exhibitions. He is also a regular jury member at these award ceremonies. Kessels has many publications in magazines and newspapers to his name.

Erik Kessels (Roermond, 11 maart 1966) is medeoprichter en creatief directeur van het Amsterdamse communicatiebureau KesselsKramer. Hij verzamelt fotografie, publiceerde verschillende fotoboeken en stelde tentoonstellingen samen. Ook is hij regelmatig jurylid bij deze prijsuitreikingen. Kessels heeft vele publicaties in tijdschriften en kranten op zijn naam staan.
