Watanabé, Mikio - Manière noire -- like new in seal
Born in 1954 in Yokoama, Japan, Mikio Watanabé moved to Paris in 1977, where he learned engraving with SW Hayter. Since 1981, he has devoted himself to the mezzotint, a technique dating from the 17th century. Watanabé draws the perfection of the absolute egg, the wars and serenity of Nature, the path of flowers and herbs, butterflies and souls. Over the cosmos, reigns the naked woman, blooming, luminous, triumphant, radiant.
